We believe that the traditional model of charging a percentage of your investment portfolio reduces economies of scale that should benefit you as your wealth grows.
Consider a typical 1% annual advisor fee on a $1 million portfolio growing at 7% annually. Every year as your portfolio grows, so do the fees. Over 20 years, you could pay $400,000 or more VS $120,000 for a flat fee.
We are committed to changing this for our clients and offer a flat annual retainer fee.

We Are Flat-fee Only
Every Dollar You Earn & Save Should Be Optimized For You. You don’t have to pay more, just because you have more. We charge a flat fee commensurate with our level of services, to reflect this.
We Do Tax Planning
While many advisors are unwilling or unable to give tax advice, we can, and we embed tax minimization into every part of your financial plan.
We can also do Tax Preparation & Filing of your returns through Theelis Tax Preparation, a separate firm that’s under same ownership with Theelis Wealth.
In financial planning, there are many variables we can’t control—market performance, economic shifts, unexpected events.
However, we focus on two areas where we can make a difference: keeping costs low, and optimizing your after-tax cashflow.
Our philosophy is centered around low costs, low debt and fair dealing with clients, as reflected in our flat annual retainer fee structure.
We create plans that tax savings and ensure tax compliance. We also help transfer wealth to the next generation with minimal estate tax impact.
We align your cost and tax strategy with broader strategies including investment, cashflow, risk, charitable intentions etc.
For Families with Special Needs that require extra attention, we also focus on a third area in making a difference: protecting access to essential benefits, for your loved one.
We begin with a one-time onboarding fee and continue with an annual retainer fee.
Initial fee of $1,000
We begin with a one-time onboarding fee of $1,000 which covers essential groundwork needed to create a personalized financial plan.
It involves the initial setup of your financial profile, current financial actions and future financial goals.
We analyze areas like income, expenses, taxes, debt, investments & giving, to gain an understanding of your financial situation and create a solid foundation for long-term success.
By the end of the onboarding process, we propose an initial financial plan to close any gaps between your current financial actions and future aspirations.
Annual fee of $5,000
We then collaborate with you through our ongoing financial planning service to refine and execute the financial plan created during the onboarding process.
Over the course of 4 review meetings in the year, we meet to plan and implement your financial plan in the areas:
You’ll schedule an Intro Call with our team to see what working with us looks like. If we decide to work together, we proceed to the next step.
We meet to review a wealth management agreement letter. This letter is mutually signed, along with payment for the onboarding fee.
We gather your financial information and use our proprietary system to create a financial plan. Once complete, it is presented to you.
We continually evaluate your needs & meet with you to optimize and update your plan, to reflect changing circumstances or goals.
